I have a build, I have set a budget for about $700 for everything minus the OS since I have a copy already, here it is: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/IAmMatt907/saved/2jLj

What games can this thing play?
I am planning on overclocking that is why I have a CPU fan and the BE of the Phenom.
I didn't want to cheap out on GPU, CPU, and RAM so I chose those first, I am hoping that this build can play games such as:
Borderlands 1 and 2
BF3 and BF4
GTA IV
DayZ
Minecraft without a whole lot of FPS issues
Natural Selection 2
Planetside 2
and of course, minesweeper

I can not go over budget, no exceptions, if you are going to suggest a different graphics card, CPU, RAM modules, or Case, or really anything, that is more expensive than the one I have listed, please don't. I need to stay within budget or else I can not build a computer.

This is my build, it is finalized, unless it is around the same price and gives me better performance, than I do not want to know. I am not going to do super heavy gaming, not on it everyday all day, but some gaming in the summer for a couple of hours, and do some homework on it.

Please help me, this is my first build, I have gone through a lot of research, time, and effort, to put this build together, I didn't take any suggestions on what to put in except my friend told me to put in a CPU cooler so when I overclock I don't goof my CPU up. I am very proud of myself for doing this, please help me finalize it into its final form so I can build it in the next few months, thanks!

I agree, the 965 = no bueno. If you can increase your budget a bit, I would suggest the FX-6350 instead.

Maybe try something like this:

Then add whatever monitor, keyboard and mouse you want.

The rig as you stated will play most all the games you want, with the 965, would OC for better results and thankfully the 965 OCs well, since you said $700 and were just slightly over, sure can go higher or change a few things, but nothing wrong with your selections
