Hi everyone,

I would like your advice. I'm in a dilema right now. I have a 400$ budget and I'm not sure if I should upgrade my PC or wait to buy a PS4 to be bulletproof in order to game for the 2-3 next years. I would be interested in a GTX 770 but I read some forums and saw that my CPU could be bottlenecking the GTX 770 and that I should overclock it but I want to keep it stock. Also my mobo only has PCIE 2.0 but I read it's not a big deal. Here is my config

i7-950 Processor (stock)
Intel/AMD default basic fan & heat sink
XFX Radeon HD5850
Gigabyte Intel X58 Motherboard (GA-X58A-UD3R)
Kingston 1333 DDR3 (3x2GB)
Seagate 500GB SATA 3GB 7200RPM,16MB Cache,
750 Watt Antec Power Supply

My PC is hooked to an HD TV so I'm playing 1080P and 720P when having problems at 1080P.

Thanks for your help!!

you could always spend a little less and get a gtx 670 and OC it to match 770s performance and spend the money you saved on a new cpu
weather consol or pc its personal preferance. i prefer pc because of gameplay and better graphics and much more stuff you can do ingame, but you have to have a pc that can run all of that

Thanks for your answer gokitty!

Well I like PC as well but I'm obsessed with having the best graphics and since I'm not interested in OCing CPU or GPU because I don't have much knowledge about it and don't have the time for it, I'm looking for the best option in order to get the best graphics! I want to know is if it's true I won't get he full capacity of a GTX 770 with my current config

not with your current cpu no you wont. but if you do upgrade your cpu and get a 670,770,760,660ti or a card like one of those you will be playing on really nice graphics that are better than the current consols. i am not sure about the next gen consols as i dont think their specs have been released yet either and they build games specificly to those specifications i guess is a way to say it.
