how can i turn off the wireless and just use the wired connection from the router

I have a 4111n router and was wondering what the button that has the wireless symbol is for and if I could turn off the wireless and just use the wired connection

It will either be a WPS button (Wi-Fi Protected setup) - used for adding devices wirelessly which are WPS compatible, or a wireless on/off button.

Why don't you press it and see if you can see your wireless network on your computer after you press it?

If it is a WPS button, then you will need to log into the router's management page via a web browser and look for the wireless enable/disable setting
