So I have a EVGA GeForce GTX570 HD 2560MB GDDR5 SLI Ready Graphics Card.

After couple of months of working fine, my graphics card would stop working and reboot my computer. Some times just freeze my comp meanwhile the gfx card fan blowing hard and making a loud noise. Now it restarts and does all what I mention.
So I took the gfx card out and connected my monitor to my motherboard instead.
Everything works perfectly fine. I try put in it back in and back to the same problem. So now I use my comp with no gfx card.

So I ask what could be the problem

You might want a new GPU or send it back to the manufacture. Do you still have it under warranty? If so, send it back.

If not, you might want to remove the Cooler, remove the old thermal paste, and use new thermal paste. You might want to check the Temps of your Rig when it's under stress.
