HDMI 2.0 and 120hz

So reading about HDMI 2.0 today being able to display 4K resolutions @60fps, I didn't see anything about it being able to support 120hz for lower resolutions (obviously, because why would you need 120hz if you only can support 60fps). Does anyone has any insight to HDMI 2.0 being about to support 120hz? or am I barking up the wrong tree, and any HDMI connection only supports up to 60FPS and it wouldn't really make a difference?

I am not sure about HDMI 2.0, but I will assume it can, because HDMI 1.4b supports 120hz. Unfortunately I've never seen anything with either.
