Connected to router cannot connect to the internet

I have similar issue. I have the Linksys router that I just installed and neither my phone or my MAC can connect to the internet. My MAC was working fine when I was using my phone as a HotSpot and then I signed up with Brighthouse and now it is not working. Just like other people I am able to connect if I plug the wire to the router.

Do you see the wireless SSID on the computer and phone? If not, is the wireless radio turned on in the Linksys router? Which Linksys model router?

Have you configured the wireless security and entered the same type (say WPA2 personal/AES) and passphrase in the router and devices?

Hi,

Check if Ethernet cable from your ISP is properly connected to router in its WAN port.
