I have a Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition by XFX. Currently I run a 23" Monitor, and a 32" LCD TV. I also have a 17" Monitor sitting to the right of my primary. I have 5 ports on my Graphics card. I have 2 DVI ports, an HDMI Port, and 2 Mini Display Ports. My primary runs on 1 of the DVI ports. My TV runs through the Mini Display Port using an HDMI to Mini Display Port Adapter. My monitor to the right of my primary runs through DVI using a VGA to DVI adapter. Here is where my problem lies. When I turn on my computer, only the Primary monitor and the TV are active. When I make an attempt to extend the desktop to the monitor on the right so I would have 3 displays running, a message pops up that reads "Unable to save display settings". I have tried everything that I know of to get this monitor to run with my other 2 displays. I cannot figure it out. Would somebody please explain to me how I can get this to work? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Ok, i have only one reason why your graphics card can't display on all three monitors, this is the size. If you want 3in1, i suggest you to buy same sized monitors to avoid any issues like that. I think card can't balance the settings between monitors. I'm also surprised how it run on 23" and 32" monitors, they are totally incompatible to each other.

yeah thats not it, why should they be incompatible? screen has has _absolutely_ no influence whatsoever when it comes to eyefinity/multiscreen... even different resolutions shouldn't be a problem (at least as long as you simply want to work with all 3 screens and not hook them up as eyefinity for gaming)

AMD eyefinity/multi screens are a little bit tricky. afaik AMD supports only:
at least one screen must be hooked up on a display port
all screens must be plugged in at digital ports (so no VGA port)

do you use a dvi-vga or vga-dvi adapter? (dvi or vga port on gpu?)

I use DVI|HDMI, with hdmi connected in card, because my monitor doesn't have hdmi connector. Also i have only one monitor. And sorry but i have no other options.

I use a VGA-DVI adapter. So my VGA monitor becomes compatible with DVI.
