alienware m14x 7 fps in game

hi guys I have problem with my alienware m14xr2 want play splinter cell blacklist and fraps showing 6-7 fps this is nightmare please help

is this a new pc, an old one, did you reinstall anything, do other games work, etc? you're not giving much info.

And if i recall correctly, that laptop has a switch mode to switch between built on and dedicated graphics. is the video card actually turned on, or is running off the integrated video?
