Upgrade My Gaming Rig or get a Laptop??

Hey guys!!,
I have 1800$ to spend :bounce:
So.....
I cant decide whether to upgrade my current rig or get a new epic laptop.
Rig Specs:
i5 3570K
CoolerMaster 212 Evo
AsRock Z77 Pro4
8 GB 1600MHz RAM
1 TB HDD
500W PSU
Intel HD4000
19" 1440x900 Monitor


I currently dont own any laptop.
I also dont travel alot.. because where i study i cant take my laptop to school/college. So i dont know why i need a laptop?
I only would take it to my friends home or use it on my bed..

1. What is your budget?
Approximately $1800??, or upgrade my PC?

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?
13-16 inches

3. What screen resolution do you want?
Anything

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
Portable i guess cause i have a decent desktop

5. How much battery life do you need?
4+

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
BF3, Skyrim+mods, League of Legends,World of Warcraft and any other new games that are released on the market. I'd like to run most games on high or medium settings.

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
I Video Edit,Game and Code(Program).

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
500 GB+
An SSD would be nice :p

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?
At least 3 to 4 years.

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need?
Optional becuase i want the laptop to be light.

4th gen i7 or better

Honestly i would just upgrade what you have.
First off, forget the i7 that i5 will last you forever.
Im guesseing you dont have a GPU , so i would get a gtx760 or 770
An 128gb SSD for system and a couple of games/software
and if that PSU if its not a reliable brand, i would change to a 550/600W from xfx, corsair, antec 80+ bronze or silver.

8gb is more than enough and your set for a good machine for a few years.
