There are the parts -

Graphics Card: Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 7950 3GB, GDDR5, PCI Express 3.0

Hard Drive: Western Digital Black - 3.5 inch 1TB Desktop SATA

RAM: Crucial BLS2CP4G3D1609DS1S00CEU Sport 8GB Kit (4GBx2), Ballistix 240-pin DIMM, DDR3 PC3-12800 Memory Module

DVD thing: LG GH24NS90.AUAA50B 24x SATA Bare Internal DVD Rewriter

Power Supply: Corsair Builder Series CXM 500W Modular 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX/EPS PSU

Mother Board: ASRock Z75 Pro3 Motherboard (Socket 1155, Intel Z75, DDR3, S-ATA 600, ATX)

That's it all, as you can see I'm not a computer genius, I just want to build a gaming pc (I have never done this before) can someone tell me if they're any parts that would be better for this build like a better mother board etc, the main things I need to know if this pc build will work, if it would fit in the case and if the power supply is powerful enough. Also if you have any tips please share them with me, thanks

All is good BUT the motherboard and maybe Power supply The mother board is LGA1155 which is Intel and you have an AMD FX8350 wich uses socket AM3+ so you need to find a socket AM3+ motherboard that you like tell it to me and ill tell you if its good :)
The powersupply is good but for future upgrades get the CX600W version of it

Hope i helped
