superfetch taking up ram

Everytime i start up my computer 40% of ram is always being used. Can someone help me with this. I've read on a lot of forums that this superfetch thing takes up the most ram. I have 4gb of ram just to let you know

Try disabling superfetch and see if that's it, also can look in task manager to see what all apps and services are running - prob have apps that are in start up that aren't needed and can be disabled/removed
