My apologies if it is repeated question but i searched a bit but could not find answer.
I have a WD 500GB external hard drive. All was good untill it fell down. For few days after falling , it was working good but in some files it was saying read input error I/O error (cant read from the source). But now in windows 7 it says you need to format it.
When i plug it in linux, it shows me data, but it has become too much slower like while copying i am getting ~1Kbps only. Now i want to backup my data (approx 450 GB) which seems impossible in current situation.
Please help, my data is very important and crucial and thanks in advance for reading my question.
