Yes it will work but I would rather get an HD 7750, which will outperform the GT 640, while being a slight bit cheaper. i would have love to have gotten a 7750 tho i have heard allot of problems with the downloading and dx 11 ?

alright thanks just making sure cause i was gonna go with that way back until i started seeing reviews that the driver didint work with xp and something in the bios
