I have just built a PC for the first time. The problem I'm having is that there is no video output signal to my monitor. The first time I turned the PC on, I got the ASRock splash screen and entered UEFI BIOS. Whilst there the boot order was #1 was my WDCaviar 1TB HDD #2 was my LG optical drive and #3 was the UEFI BIOs thing, which I assume is the back up on the motherboard. I didn't change any of this and now I realise I should of made the optical drive the primary boot drive, however I can't do that because I get no video output to my monitor. The computer powers up fine and ALL the cables are plugged in correctly.
Specs: i5 3570k, ASRock z77 Extreme4, ASUS GTX 760 DirectCU II, 2x4gb Corsair Vengeance RAM, 600w PSU, 1TB Western Digital Caviar Green HDD and an LG 24x SATA DVDRW.
Also I am yet to install windows and so there is nothing on the HDD.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.
