0xc0000006 error when reinstalling

When reinstalling windows 7 I get an error 0xc0000006 I looked it up and it's an error that is common to apps and the advice is to run startup repairs, but I've run startup repairs and it is not find anything. So now I have no clue what's going on.

It seems to me as if you have something missing in the registry files, are you able to get past the boot screen and to the desktop? or are you stopped before the desktop?

It stops at the booting screen, I haven't seen the desktop in months, but I'm trying to reinstall again. So we'll see what it has to say Ina bit.

When you say you are re-installing the windows 7, and it did not work, did the specific version of windows 7 that you are trying to install/ the one that doesn't work now, ever work?

So it worked. I was able to reinstall windows 7. No weird errors or nothing. I don't know why it didn't work the first time , but now we're in the clear. I'm installing all the hardware discs and it seems to be working perfectly, I'll have another update when I know it's all working. Thanks for the reply and what not
