There's no clear way to unsubsctibe from this forum. I suppose that's by design. The moderators keep removing my thread, but nobody will provide an ANSWER. Please help.

So the Unsubscribe button in your account settings does in fact not work then I take it ?

Well, that's the really frustrating part! I elected to log in to this forum through Facebook. In order to unsubscribe they ask you for your password. I tried typing in my Facebook password but that wasn't accepted, so I assume Tom's Hardware has assigned me their own login password that I'm not even aware of.

I then went through Tom's Hardware's Forgot My Password process, where they're supposed to e-mail me a temporary password. They sent me a temporary password that didn't work. I've since tried several times again, but now only get a "Change of password" e-mail The link in that e-mail just dumps you into your account settings screen. There you can Edit your password but, of course, you need to input your current password to change to a new password.

Thanks Tom's Hardware. I've wasted oodles of time on something that should be totally easy to do in minutes. Is there an admin out there that can help me????

Well the community manager is as far as I know on holiday. I would recommend sending a PM to justinblue.
You should be able to find him through the search bar at the top of the page. Sorry but I don't have a link.
I have found him to be very helpful in the past.

Greetings!

You can use the temporary password that was sent to you to unsubscribe. When the option asks you for your password, that's the one you'll want to use.

Hope this helps!
