Recently created thread deleted?!?!

So, earlier today (9/11/2013) I created a thread regarding the Colorado lawmakers that were recalled as a result of the recently passed anti-gun legislation.

Later in the day, I re-entered the News & Leisure section of THG forums to see if there were any replies or reads. Much to my chagrin, the thread no longer existed!

I shortcutted the URL - http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-1797989/anti-gun-c... - but the ubiquitous Error 404 message.

Has this happened to anyone else lately? Or did a Forum Mod decide they didn't like the content of my thread and deleted it?

Could have been deleted. I've seen in the past where I've posted and thought it was done, closed the browser or went to another site and it didn't post.

Thanks for the reply Riser.

I understand they don't have to, but it would be nice if a Forum Mod sent a PM stating why the thread was deleted.

The thread seems to have been deleted by the system, when a mod deletes a post or thread it gets recorded in the post or thread.

I'll reinstate it and see if the JD leaves it alone.
