yes performance will increase but depending on the card speed and type of vram.The reason why manufacturer never put a higher bandwith for low profile cards is that they want to sell the regular high end card.They are actually just a replacement for your integrated gpu but its perform better than an integrated gpu.still,low profile card are cheap and what u pay for is what u get.

why they dont want to increase bandwidth? is this bandwidth will have really great impact on gpu performance?
will a HD 6450 with GDDR5 @ 900 Mhz on 3846 bit will beat 6670 with GDDR5 @ 900 Mhz on 128 bit?

As i said it is made to be a low profile card a replacement for integrated card(intel hd 3000,4000) so a higher bandwith will just be useless.that is why the cost of low profile card is cheap.and yes a same clock gpu(900mhz vs 900mhz) but one with higher bandwidth(265 bit vs 128 bit) does make a different in fps.and btw bandwidth doesnt go up to 3846bit.if u still want to know why they never increase bandwidth on a low profile card,go to their respective sites and ask them directly.
