This is my first build and I don't want to screw anything up. This will be for moderate gaming computer and if there are any changes you wish make, know that I have a price limit of about $730. Here are the links.

Nice try for your first build, but get this since it saves money and has better performance:

Motherboard: ASRock 970 PRO3 R2.0 ATX AM3+ Motherboard ($81.98 @ SuperBiiz)
Memory: Mushkin Blackline 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2400 Memory ($63.04 @ NCIX US)
Video Card: PowerColor Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition 1GB Video Card ($69.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $332.99
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

Also you are missing a lot of things... case, PSU, optical drive, Windows OS

My reasoning for Windows 8 was that if more game makers begin to make games for Windows 8, I would not have to upgrade in the future.

Lol yep, they are the top site for pc parts. Also I strongly suggest to get windows 7 because windows 8 is just a copy of it with a really weird interface and no start menu. I would only get 8 if you were using a touchscreen monitor.

How do I do that? (I'm sorry, this is the first time I've done this)

I think I can. Thank you for all the advice. I'll check back with you in about a week or 2 and tell you how it went. One last thing. How do I select a post as the solution?

I will have to find a cheaper video card. I just can't squeeze into my budget.
I also can not find the button saying "pick as solution"

Well it's ok but for $40 more highly suggest to get this card. The reason is because it will last you longer and has better gaming performance. It was officially recommended by BF4 to have a GPU of 3GB, hence the HD 7950 series. Plus you also get 3 free games with it.
