Guys, I'm interested at overall gaming performance combining gtx 760(hawk) and fx 6300... Should any overclock be done...

You will do just fine with no overclock, but overclocking your CPU may give you a few more FPS in some games. Your CPU will be the bottleneck in your system, so there is not really any point in overclocking your graphics card (it won't be running at 100% in most games).

So if an fx 6300 is good enough, how big that bottleneck will be? :) I consider my GPU to be great in price/performance.

I would expect you to get at least 60 FPS with settings maxed out in most games, and I can't imagine any games that you would get less than maybe 40. The only exception I can think of to that is in Guild Wars 2 and maybe other MMOs when there are like 50+ people on-screen at once. In order to have a CPU that could out-perform your GPU, I think you would have to go all the way up to something like an i7 3770k. I can tell you that my system is an FX-4100 (basically a quad core version of the FX-6100) and a Radeon HD 7870 (very similar performance to the GTX 760) and I get about 45+ FPS in every game I can think of with settings maxed, and most games are over 60. You should do a bit better than me with the FX-6100. As for what would happen if you upgraded to the i7, every game would be 60+ FPS with settings maxed.
