Having problems signing into my hotmail account

I have a old email address I tried to sign in but kept stating its wrong but I have had this email address for years and just recently when hotmail changed to outlook it will not let me sign in at all

I think they purged addresses/accounts that hadn't been used in a while, a year if I remember correctly. I always tried to use my hotmail account once a month just to prevent this type of thing from happening.

you have to delete all temp files from your browser, and passwords etc . Restart browser and go to www.mail.office365.com and try it there. Should work if not delete temp and restart browser and try outlook.com or hotmail.com again.
