If it's only there for storing things, a 7200rpm 64MB cache hard drive will be plenty.
Remember, for fast boot times, you'll want an SSD, but that wouldn't hold any games on it.

yes 7200/64 is good, WD Black/Blue Seagate, Hibatchi, Samsung all great brands.
