Good Price for Ram?

So, I've got every component for my new build in the cart at Newegg and Micro Center except for the RAM due to current prices. Newegg has a number of 8GB sets on sale for $50 to $65, but in the comments a lot of people are saying they picked them up for ~ $35.

Understandably these prices change like madness, but what have a lot of you paid recently or what is considered a good price? I've got to order my other components by Sunday due to sale prices ending (last month this was a $1200 build, right now it's $800!), but I'm willing to wait another week or so on the RAM. The only issue is not being able to test all the components right away and time constraints on MIRs.

Dram prices have been steadily rising due to lack of ICs and the fact that the manufacturers are gearing up to put DDR4 into production
