Hello everyone, I have a question on paring 2 chipsets.

I am planning on playing the Battlefield 4 beta here shortly, and I am currently running an AMD A8-5600k with a Radeon HD 6770, and I am wondering if I upgrade to a HD 7850 or even a 7950, will I see any kind of "bottle-necking" with that setup, or should I consider upgrading to the A10 as well? I am able to currently play BF3 at 58-60 FPS on Ultra at 1920X1080 and Crysis 2 on Ultra at the same resolution at about 50-58 FPS. I also have 8GB of ram running Win7 X64 bit.

There will be some cases where you will be CPU bound, however unless you can notice the difference between 50 and 60 fps it's not going to matter much. Additionally, FM2+ athlon ii chips may work with your current FM2 motherboard assuming the extra pins in the FM2+ motherboard are for the iGPU.

I have an amd a8 3850 and yes you should go for the 7950 with no problems, you will have a little bottleneck, the 4 cores won't handle all the potential it will be like 95-98% of core CPU uses(@3.6ghz), you will run all at max settings 1080p, but yes, you should buy an amd fx 6300 or 8350 with mobo combo, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY PAIRING WITH A 6670 IN DUAL GRAPHICS. I did that and i waste my money with a 6670(dual graphics), 7770, 7850, 7870 and now i have a 7950 and just now i see the little bottleneck.
