My computer freezes on startup

My computer freezes on startup when is test for memory. It posts and has its beep but it tells me main Processor and does memory test and gets to 524288K and says OK. Key board flashes then nothing. Please help.

Or motherboard name and model?

How many beeps?
This is dependant of what type of BIOS You have, but here you will find various beep codes depending on BIOS:

First of all, disconnect all external devices except monitor, keyboard and mouse.
Shut off the computer and wait at least 10 sec. > start the computer > immediately press DEL, F2, F1 or Esc to enter BIOS Setup meny (it will tell you on the screen or in the manual which key to press) > "Load BIOS Default" or "Load BIOS Optimized Defaults" > save & Exit.

BTW. first check your HDD Boot priority, in case you have more than one.
And what type of BIOS is it alså BIOS version?

THe Motherboard is a Soltex SL-85DRV4 motherboard. It is quite a old computer and got it from a friend for me to play with or fix. It Just has one short beep like a working computer would. It has three HDD. It had Four but took the otehr one out as it only had 2GB on it.what should i do now??? thanks
