Recently I purchased a Sandisk Cruzer Blade 32 GB USB drive. By default, it comes with a FAT-32 file system. The data transfer rate is moderate ... not very impressive.
If I format the USB drive with NTFS file system, will it deliver a better performance ? Will data transfer rate increase in that case ?
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Oh, my goodness !
Can you please explain a little bit about the reason for it ? Why USB flash drives always come with FAT-32 by default ? And decreasing how much (approximately) ?
I have another flash drive, Kingston 8 gb, which is working well for last 5-6 years or so (w/out having any problem) ... and yes, I never formatted that drive even with FAT-32 (not required at all for say virus attack etc.)

Thanks again ... it was indeed useful info for me ... I am leaving the flash drive as it is (i.e. FAT-32) and let the device to work properly for some longer period of time ! :)
