So in November i was looking to get a i5 3570k from my i3 3220. My current board is the P8z77v-lx asus

so i was wondering what do i have to do after replacing the cpu?
do i have to update my bios after putting it in?
by going to the asus site and getting them from there?

I am getting the corsair H60 water cooler with the i5 aswell and WONT be using the stock cooler.

So can i get some help on what i need to do to keep this running just fine :)

Thanks if you reply

You are good to go. Just install the new CPU and fan/heatsink and everything should work right off the bat. I say this because in order to be able to use the i3 3220 you already have your BIOS has to be updated to 0610 which is compatible with the 3570k.
