Hi, today my PC temps were pretty high so I've decided to clean it and reapply thermal paste. After cleaning the GPU the case fan and applying thermal paste I placed everything back in its place and powered on but nothing happened. No signal on the monitor, no POST, fans are spinning but that's it.
I took everything out and tried to boot with only PSU, CPU, mobo, and CPU fan. But there is no beep and no nothing. I took out the CMOS battery, didn't help.

It was a working PC so I do not know what could be the problem, I don't believe it's bad PSU since it worked fine before.
Anyone can help?
Thanks in advance, Tomer.

Hi, Try reseating the CPU. Check also the CPU socket for bent pins.

Tried reseating and checked it for about 5 times

What motherboard using? Can you connect an internal speaker? Is there a red led that remains lit?

Gygabyte ma790xt-u4dp there is a speaker. If I remove the CPU cooling I can here a beep. No mobo LEDs. The reset light flashes however.

If starting with only CPU and CPU fan installed, getting any beeps?

That how I tried to boot. No luck.

If the CPU fan is spinning and no beeps, then it's either a board or a CPU issue. Is the board under warranty? If yes, try RMA-ing it.
What happened while cleaning it? Hard to say.

The PC is several years old so no warranty.
How could the cleaning damage the mobo or CPU?

You can test the motherboard and the CPU at a local shop.

After checking for the 10th time I noticed a bent pin on the CPU, was able to fix it using a credit card and a needle.
Now what I get is. 4 short flashing in the front panel LED.
Still no beeps or anything.

Well turns out the speaker cable was disconnected...
Luckily after fixing the CPU pin and plugging everything back to it's place. My PC is up and running. thank you so much for your fast responses. :)
