When do the best hardware deals happen?

Hello I am getting into building pc's and i plan on building my first one this year and am wondering when the best promotions are going on. During Christmas time? Or on black friday? Also what sites offer good deals during those seasons

Try before, during, and after Black Friday as well as before and after Christmas. I bought something after Black Friday and around Xmas it was on sale again for $20 bucks less. That isn't always the case though. Gives you an idea hopefully.
