Hey.

So i recently built my first PC (mainly for gaming) and decided on the GTX 760 oc from Gigabyte. I got the system working on the first go, and everything seemed to be working fine.. Updated all my drivers, and even downloaded Arma 3 and was able to play it quite well on Ultra settings.

Then I started to notice crashing issues, where I would lose video signal, the monitor would go into "power saving mode", and then the issue became more frequent, and would get to the point where it would crash on start-up.

I was told that changing the speed of my PCI-e slot to (Gen2) would help ..which it did.. but now when I get past the login screen I get screen flickers with error messages saying that Drivers 320.49 aren't responding, and windows recovers twice, before it shuts the display down again..

I would really like some help on this cause this is frustrating, especially for a novice like myself.

my system is. Asus H87M-Plus, 8Gb DDR3 (Corsair), TX750W PSU (Corsair), Gigabyte GTX 760 OC V.2.0., Intel i5-4670k (Haswell).

sounds like a faulty gpu.

Well its just weird that it would work so well and then decide to crap out only after a few hours of use. I hear its become a common issue with the 7 series. So i'm lead to beleive that its not my card but the software....Somewhere.

So I was able to send my GPU back, did a whole bunch of trouble shooting with various people, and nothing seemed to prevail, so i'm really hoping that it was infact a faulty GPU and a not a bigger problem.

Anyway.. will post a update on whether it gets fixed or not.. if anyone cares :p
