27 inch monitor - best bang for $

I am looking for a 2560x1440 monitor and I keep running across the following brands:
QNIX
Crossover
XStar
Yamakasi
and Achieva

For the price they sound too good to be true. I have heard the stands are not the best.
I am drawn specifically to the QNIX and Crossover with Tempered Glass as my first choices.

Thoughts and feedback???

Ended up with a Qnix Tempered glass mode. Love he monitor. Have only been able to overclock to 100mhz stable. Very happy with purchase.

with the specs you have 1440p is going to be pretty sick and congrats on the purchase
