My new gaming pc is arriving in a few days, and i have a few questions

1: For how long do you think this pc will last(and by last i mean play all the latest games on ultra details(maybe with shadows off or something like that) at 1080p

2: At what frames will i be able to play today's games (Crysis 3, Metro Last Light, Witcher 2(with ubersampling and without) etc. at the highest possible settings

3: is there a component of equal price that would be a better choice than the ones i chose?

thats not a very good system, you cant max metro LL, let alone crysis LOL!. Good cpu, mobo, ram, storage. The PSU is not a good one, nor is a 760 LOL! where did you get this from? i suggest either a GTX 770 4GB msi lightning + Seasonic 750/850 Watt modular + 80+ platnium/gold rating.

How much did you pay for this? you will need to change the gpu in 3 months or so, it can do older games at high /ultra/extra but not more then say black ops 2 or so. the 760 is the lowest end 700 series card...

How much and from where did you get this from?

Thank you for your reply, but the benchmarks of the 760 hawk i saw state otherwise, and the price difference between the gtx 760 hawk and 770 lightning is quite big, and goes way over my budget( which is about 1250$ )
But take notice i'm from a country where the prices of components are quite high (Serbia)

anyways the GPU is mostly the biggest part to a gaming machine. Couldnt you have just saved some more and ordered it? In the us the Lighting is 449$ and the Gigabyte 4gb 770 is 439$

i did go about 80$ over, and you have a much better card + way better power supply + Water cooling. This is otherwise the same setup, i went off the names you listed.

I had a friend that went from a 6850 in his hackintosh to a GTX 650 in his macbook pro retina to a 760. He was so impressed with getting 65 fps in games at ultra. He came to my house, played with my rig (3x EVGA 780's) and was appalled. i mean, he was sitting there in metro LL, mouth open, hands off the Kb, fingers just below the spacebar. staring at Fraps frame counter. We went to a lan party that night (why he was at my house) and when we were there we had all got up and tried other peoples rig's. he sat at a 7970 OC'ed and a 770 OC'ed. Mind blown. he sat at his own. Blah mine sucks. He got up and went over to a dude with 4 680's. Appalled again. quite the night. 3 days later, he sold his 760 (asus?) and got a 770 from EVGA.

1st off, Is this a prebuilt?

2. Being the brandist little F**k i am, i would say msi, because your mobo will allow better OC with it, more Volts/High clocks.

Its all about the ram in these cards. ATM, Battle Field 4 is taking about 2.23 GB of VRAM at ultra settings on most maps. some less some more. Thats why a 4 gig card on a 38x bit bus will last alot longer then a 2 gig card on the same bus width.

I would stick with the 760 its a solid card and anything priced higher is far worse from a value point of view. You could get a secong 760 in 6 months or so as they will likely fall in price soon as AMDs next gen cards will launch next month (you could wait for that). Also the GPU is much easier to upgrade later and will not need a new motherboard.

In my opinion, it may last your around 2 to 3 years but if you are a hardcore gamer, you may have to upgrade your RAM quite often.

4670 VS 4670K= K can OC, non K can not. The non-K doesnt have a unlock clock multiplier. not a biggie, because if you upgrade to broadwell/Skylake next 1-2 years, you cna get a K series I5
