Hello all, i really have to reach a decision about my new rig's monitor. my options are the below:

1. http://www.samsung.com/uk/consumer/tv-audio-video/television/led-tv/UE32F6100AKXXU-spec
2. http://www.samsung.com/uk/consumer/tv-audio-video/television/led-tv/UE32F6400AKXXU-spec
3. http://www.samsung.com/uk/consumer/tv-audio-video/television/led-tv/UE40F6100AKXXU-spec
4. http://www.asus.com/Monitors_Projectors/VG278H/#specifications
5. http://www.asus.com/Monitors_Projectors/VG27AH/#specifications

all the above are between the 400-500 euros range in my country.
so my main problems, since it's obvious i want to go for size, are the following:

1. will the 3D samsung TVs be able to support 120Hz in 2D mode for gaming?
2. i am allready aware of the 60Hz 3D HDMI issue that allows only 780px
3. is a 40'' TV too big for gaming?
4. best screen of all?
5. extra question, should i go passive? :/

looking forward for your opinionsand contribution!!

RIG: ASUS Maximus VI Gene / Intel Core i7-4770K / ASUS GTX770 DirectCU II OC / 16GB-Kit G.Skill TridentX 2400 / Samsung SSD 840 EVO 250GB / WD Blue 1000GB / Corsair GS800 2013

The Asus VG278H is the only one that will offer 1080p 60hz gaming in 3D, and the only one that will allow 120hz in 2D gaming. It also happens to get great reviews.

The passive systems will deliver 1920x590 resolutions if you are lucky enough to be able to use that resolution at 60hz in 3D. Most likely you'll be at 1280x360.

You will also want a couple sites for when you get the monitor. First off, if you are wanting to use 3D Vision 2, this will help fix a lot of games: http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2013/07/game-list-full.html

You may also want to use Lightboost in 2D for near 0 motion blur: http://www.blurbusters.com/zero-motion-blur/lightboost/

Also, when you do set it up, be sure to go into the Nvidia control panel and set depth to at least 50%, and turn on the extended keyboard shortcuts so you can adjust the convergence. Without either of those settings properly set, you'll be very disappointed in 3D, but with them configured well, games that support 3D well, look awesome.

thank you for your time, about the monitor pick i 'm fully covered.
so what about the 40'' Samsung 3D, can it support 120Hz in 2D mode? my main problem is that i really don't want to limit the capabilities of my build just by picking the wrong display.

As I said before, no. Only the Asus VG278H, of the monitors and TV's you listed, will support 120hz on a PC. Those 120hz TV's do not accept 120hz worth of input. They take at most, 60hz, and add additional frames through using an algorithm which causes a ton of latency, which is why it won't be allowed to be used with a PC.
