i am a bit biased i like to go with choices of amd and ati.., help me with that and wat or how much would i be spending..?? if its around 15k tat would be nice.., already have 8 gb ram waiting to install.. so this 15k is for gpu and cpu can add a max of 5k if motherboard is also needed.. any advise would be helpful thnx.!! :)

You will need a better cpu/apu and video card to enjoy gta5 on higher settings.

phenom X II 975 or greater. as for video card, HD 7700 would be a great card. or if you want to go the gtx route the gtx 660 looks like it would handle gta5 with no problems.

If you are considering a new build the I5 2500k is advisable. it is cheaper than the 3570k and overclocks better.
the GPU choices would remain the same however.

AMD is awesome.

fx 8350 all the way. or if you have tons of cash to blow the fx-9xxx is also nice :)
as for mother boards I myself swear by ASUS. the sabertooth is nice as is the M5a990fx board. both are going to set you back 150 to 200.
and of course, the 7700 or the 660 for your video card.
the stock cooler on the 8350 will do fine if you plan to leave it screaming at 4.0 overclock it and you'll need something else.

I would get a Phenom II X4 965 and an HD 7850. Should cost about $250 total and you wouldn't have to replace your motherboard.

The 9850 is an older processor and overall is much less powerful than the 965. They both have 4 cores but due to architecture improvements and a higher clock speed the 965 does much much better in games. The 965 is also easily overclocked.
