thermoelectric cooling system

Hi there,just a quick question from a newbie.All the forums about cooling are ranging from extreem liquid cooling to gigantic cpu coolers weighing in at over 6lb.I'm lost which way to go,but heres my question,what if I removed the cooling system from a camping thermocooler box (housing etc) and fitted it on top of the pc(remove grill and 2 fans)and connected it to a variable voltage controller?I know you can get up to 32c below ambient temp.with them.Any thoughts on it?
