I am new and very much a neophyte. I apologize if it's a dumb question but here goes. I've done a lot of reading on video cards (i.e. benchmarks, etc) and I am still confused about how to tell the difference between manufacturers of the same video card. I have decided to build my first computer and I want to make sure that I purchase a good video card. I plan to do some gaming and have been looking at the GTX 670 (as an example). This seems to be in my price range and again the differences between the manufacturers is confusing to me. I get that some come with higher RAM and all that but the price variance seems to be significant.
