So I built a system a few months back with the following specs:

MB: Asus Z87-A
CPU: Intel i7-4770k
RAM: Kingston HyperX RAM 16.0GB DDR 1333MHz
Boot Drive: Sandisk Extreme 240GB SSD
GPU: GALAXY GeForce GT 630 1GB (from my previous budget build)
PSU: Thermaltake 650W

Yeah, I know my GPU doesn't do my new build any justice so any suggestions? I'm looking at either a GTX 760, GIGABYTE HD 7970 OC or should I wait for the new HD 9xxx series?

Main purpose of this build is for video editing and gaming.

Hi - I don't believe you can find a 680 mentioned above for $300, I've only seen one under $350.
gtx770's are even more.

Right now your best value in a high end card is the hd7970. They can be had for under $300.

http://pcpartpicker.com/mr/newegg/sapphire-video-card-100351sr $280

They're big cards, make sure they fit in your case.

Hi,
I would recommend a gtx 760 but that would be
About 50 bucks below budget; but you might still want to consider one of those if you are more on the nvidia side of things... and the price/performance is great on this gpu.

Good luck!
