It should be kept as a cheaper version, drop the price down further and then make it a super cheap phone with what are still great specs.

Now that straight talk is getting 4G soon, anyone with a brain will figure out you can get a great phone for $200-$250 and unlimited everything for $45/month and not be tied to a contract. I hope this puts a dent into the insane prices that the big providers charge, though the idiots who need the new iPhone every year will keep them going.

We bought one and still love it.
Website says "We're out of inventory. Please check back soon." on both 8GB and 16GB.
Do they mean "check back soon" or "check back soon for Nexus 5"?
I hope they keep it for awhile longer maybe even drop the price.

It seems a bit early considering the Nexus 4 was released in November last year. However, I think the price cut was to flush out their inventory. It is probably gone for good. I'm wondering if they will try for an October release of the 5.
