hi guys, i put this little budget pc together.
i am gonna use it in my bedroom as a HTPC, browse the net, do some Video editing and
sometimes play a game, but nothing major.

some more info:
i don't OC!
i don't use SLI/CX

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1EWQo

i've seen others post links to that pcpartpicker site. i hope thats ok, or i can post the parts
here again:

Intel i5 4670K
Arctic Cooling Freezer 13
Asrock Z87M Extreme4
G.Skill DDR3 1600MHz 8GB (F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL)
Western Digital BLACK 1tb (OS) + 2tb storage drive
Coolermaster HAF XB
Corsair TX650M

i already got the 2tb storage drive, optical drive etc. and im not sure yet what GPU ill
choose, but probably a GTX 760.
i chose that particular case, because i like the design. i won't carry it around etc. lol

think thats all, so please if you guys see something that wont work or have any kind
of thought about this setup, then please let me know. thanks in advance :)

Get a non K CPU if you do not want to overclock. Also, drop the CPU cooler. The stock cooler will be fine.

An h87 motherboard will be all you need because you won't be overclocking. This will save you money.

+1 If adamant about not OCing no need for a K model

valid argument, though i won't limit myself because of 10 bucks (K model).
who knows whats in a year or two.
the z87 chipset felt like the better option to me, regardless whether i OC or
not. e.g. the board i chose up there has a Realtek ALC1150 Audio Codec.
all of the h87 boards my local shop carries come with the Realtek ALC892 Audio Codec.
so to me, its not just better for overclocking and saving 20-50 bucks on that didn't
make much sense to me either. unless im missing something of course :)

i already have a sandy bridge pc, where i do a lot of video encoding and i noticed a ~10°C drop
at full load with the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7, compared to the stock one.

thanks for the replies though guys, much appreciated!
