i have a choice of two pre-built systems (fixed specification) - they're identical with each having the following:
- 250GB SSD
- EVGA GTX 760
- 2TB Hard Drive
- 16GB DDR3 (1600) RAM

differences
system 1
- Asus B85M-G
- Coolermaster K-350 Case
- Corsair 550W PSU
- i7 4770 and standard cooler
- £1040

system 2
- Asus Z87-K
- Corsair Carbide Series 200R
- Corsair 600W PSU
- i5 4670K (overclocked to 4.2ghz)
- Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro v2
- £1080

predominantly i'll use the pc for gaming, which is the one you'd pick and why?
also, is a 550W PSU enough for system 1 (given it's got an SSD & Hard drive, i7, and GTX760)?

they're both from www.scan.co.uk/value-systems

I have to make the obligatory statement of "built it yourself" because its much more fun and quite a bit easier.

The i5 would have an advantage because it is clocked higher. The i7 gives no advantage in games.

I7 it gives you better performance in future. And you can OC the 4770k easy.. :)
Look this http://extremespec.net/gigabyte-ga-b85-hd3-motherboard-review-design-testing-performance/3/
Cheap mobo deset OC :) Same thing with this 760

Look this too http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Intel/Core_i5_4670K_and_i7_4770K_Comparison/
Now you can get both. How it sound to get I7 for a price I5 then just buy intel xeon 1230V2 or 1230V3
That is best bang for your money.
