I'm trying to build a gaming pc. This is what I am looking at:

Case: NZXT Phantom 630

Processor: Intel Core i7-4770K Processor

Motherboard: Asus Z87-Pro Motherboard

Hard drive: Seagate Barracuda 2TB

Solid State Drive: Crucial m4 128GB

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB

Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 770

Optical Drive: ASUS Internal 24X DVD Burner

PSU: XFX Core Edition Power Supply - 750W, 80 Plus Bronze

Is this good? It seems good to me, but I want to make sure before I buy the parts. I didn't miss anything, did I? The price would be $1592.

I would downgrade your processor to a i5 if all you plan on doing is gaming, you could take the money from that and upgrade to a gtx 780, you will see only 2-3 fps increase going from an i5 to i7. Now if you are planning on editing and that the i7 would be a good choice but for pure gaming go with an i5 and invest into what will give you more of a fps increase the i5 will in now way bottle nevk the gtx 780 even in sli

Thanks for the reply. I think I will stick with the i7, since I will also be doing programming and 3D modeling. I can always upgrade to the 780 later. Just wanted to make sure I picked good parts overall.

Yep for programming and 3d modeling that would be best, if wouldn't buy a gtx 780 then I would just consider running sli gtx 770 at some point down the road for an upgrade, but over your system looks good for what you want it to do 3d modeling and programming will both benefit from having 16gigs of ram and an i7, the only thing I would change further is spending a bit more for a hard drive, get a performance had drive like a 2tb wd caviar black which will serve you better than the seagate
