HIS 7950 IceQ vs Asus 670 DCU II

Hi

I'm stuck choosing between these two cards:

Asus 670
HIS 7950

After researching quite a lot I got the impression that the 670 is a lot better at stock but the 7950 can pull ahead with some basic OCing and my main thought is that BF4 will be optimized for AMD and that's what I'm purchasing a new card for.

Any fors or against of each card?

The 7950 has more memory bandwidth, but the 670 is a better overall card performance wise, also lower voltage and with the Asus CU cooling, it OCs very well

i agree unless both get overclcoked to max potential then the 7950 will be faster in pretty much every game

That would depend on whose doing the OCing, performance wise the 670 is better and with the cooling design is capable of rather high clocks

All my 7950's were beating highley overclocked gtx 680's.I doubt any gtx 670 could hang with a 7950 overclocked to 1100 mhz which is a moderate overclock really.All mine hit 1200 mhz.Were splitting hairs here but still 7950 overclocked to max potential should beat a gtx 670 overclocked to its max
