Hey Everyone, I recently made a YouTube channel called R&H and it would be great if you could check some of our videos. Im not asking for Subscribers just a chance and maybe some constructive criticism.

Thanks
Harry

the commentary volume is too low. also the commentary isnt as interesting as some of the other more established channels which is okay if you are new but you should definitely work in it. watch some videos of the popular channels and then watch your own and you will see what i mean.

the screen shakes way too much. honestly i couldnt watch much of it because the screen was always in motion. perhaps a slower rate of turn/lower mouse settings and less twitching would be helpful. of course it could just be me.

Yea I was thinking that myself. The motion blur in doom is nuts so I will need to turn that down and I think I will use audacity for my commentary. Will check other YouTubers and practice my commentary.

a good one to watch is this guy. he is just great. hilarious, entertaining and informative.

this guy also is not too bad but his videos are too short to really be of much use.

whatever you do... dont be like this guy. very annoying and he makes false promises pissing off his viewers.

this guy here is pretty bad too. probably a nice guy but he just goes over the top with his commentary.

Thanks alot man but after watching them I noticed they all had alot of subscribers and I was just wondering if there was any way for me to get more views. Atm I have 4 views and it's been up for 16hrs

first of all you need to put up content regularly so people will have a need to check back.

second you may want to contact some of those guys and ask them to watch your videos or perhaps put a good word in for you. (provided you have enough content and dont suck). i've seen them put a link to some other users videos if they feel impressed enough and that will get you pageviews.

if its interesting those pageviews will turn into subscribers which in turn can land you in some search results on the right bar. if you get popular enough you might be lucky enough to get a front page slot on someone that views alot of game walkthroughs.

basically what i'm saying is that its going to take awhile to get people to start coming to your channel but if you work at it, talk to some other users, make video responses and post them on similar walkthroughs in the comments then people will start viewing your channel. of course this is provided you have more than 1 video. i would suggest having at least 5-10 videos up and a steady influx of new videos to keep anyone who does show up entertained.

That sounds very reasonable. When you say regularly upload videos how much would that be as I don't have that much time on my hands.

i would say at minimum every few days. keep in mind that until you have a whole crock full of content... you may not get subs or visitors.

people may watch the video... but if there isnt more to it they might not be back.
