Increasing your Minecraft Peformance/FPS

Many people have lots of problems with Minecraft Performance. Even with decent machines they still lag. This little tutorial is a simple one but works so well. It works with Tekkit and Minecraft.

Step 1 - Press Start and type in %appdata% and click Roaming.
Step 2 - Then goto .minecraft
Step 3 - Now double click on Options.txt
Step 4 - Locate FPSLimits and change it from 1 or 2 to 120 or 60 for a more stable FPS.

You won't get that exact FPS but many user have experienced double the FPS and performance in Minecraft.

No, its not. That is the best gaming setup on the market at the moment, so of course it will run it. As for that tip, that is available in game as of next update, and optifine triples the performance with no tweaks at all.

No no I meant that I don't think it is the minimum requirements.
