Data lost from hard disk, need to recover data.

I have a HP HP E1 W8 14-B012AU notebook, i reinstalled windows 7 ultimate on it and while the files got installed and d notebook restarted it didn boot instead a blank screen came, i tried thrice to the same result,

i used another image and touched only my c drive which had my windows earlier i had to save my other drive which had some 150 gigs of data...now after i partitioned the c drive, and installed windows 7 on the new partition.. the windows got installed but the d drive ( which had all my data) is completely empty all my data is lost, its very important to me and i need to retrieve it. i have stopped using the laptop so that nothing new gets written on the hard disk.. Please help me um stuck


tom's hardware has always helped me... i have very high hopes as usual.
