hp pavilion g6 windows 8 laptop hardware problem cd rom stopped working error cd rom is blocked

My new laptop Pavilion g6 windows 8. CD rom stopped working. It makes a do do do noise constantly. In the error page it says the cd rom is blocked. I can't see anything. Help

What do you mean by you can't see anything ? If the tray of the cd/dvd drive stuck, then take a paper clip or safety pin, look for a tiny hole on the front of the drive, push the pin in, then push the eject button, or pull the tray out. See how it works.
