Check my current build for me/"optimize" the price?

Hello all,

I was thinking of building my PC a lot later than this, but decided to build the system now and buy the graphics card in a couple of weeks (october ish). If possible could you check to make sure my parts list works out and if there are anything that are at a cheaper price, please let me know, and or make the changes. Preferably, I do not want to change the CPU, monitor, or CPU cooler at all. As well, I think the motherboard is currently on sale, and the case. (Hence why would like to buy almost everything now). Perhaps someone can find a less expensive keyboard (that is just as good as my current listed one), at a store like NCIX, and not newegg. This is because I would save a little bit on shipping and not burn up $10 on the shipping of one item from newegg.ca. For graphics, as I mentioned, I prefer to wait until October to see what is in store for new ATI cards, but this is the one i was looking at. If I should buy it now, or proceed with my current plan, please let me know. Note The wireless network is needed by all means, I have no access to wired internet.

Here is the current system, again, improvements on price would be nice, preferably without rebates, in reality I'm happy with the current price but I'm open to new suggestions. Definitely the keyboard is a bother to me but I my look when I have some more time.

Not a bad shout on waiting for the new card lineup, they are announcing their new lineup on the 25th.

You could upgrade that PSU for free to an Antec 620W for $20 less:

And this is why I decided to come here first, thanks :) So would you say the rest of the system is good?

So I went ahead and purchased this system. A few changes had to be made to your suggested list ps3hacker12, as the PSU you gave me was sold out when I went to go order. I also bundled a few products (hard drive and monitor to save slightly on shipping and reduce the amount of inbound orders). After everything (taxes, shipping, and insurance ) aside from the keyboard and graphics card, the total came to $1067 CAD (about $100 more than PCPartpicker's prediction). Which to me, isn't bad at all, and after any rebates that get accepted, the price should go down a bit. Now just the waiting game until the parts arrive. -_-

I'm sure I'll be back here when I build this thing. Thanks for the help, I appreciate it (even though ps3hacker12, you were the only one who replied to me :p )

Yeah, it all looks good, normally mre people reply, but the time you posted at was why not that many people posted :p

Hopefully the 4 day wait for the new graphics card lineup will be worth it, but lots of good things have been floating around in the rumour mill lately about AMDs new lineup, so hopefully it's worth the wait.

That's awesome to hear everything I bought is all good! I'm really quite hoping that there is something special in store with these new graphics. Even if I have to spend a little bit more, I will probably buy from the upcoming series.

Thanks again!
