I am planning to build my very first gaming pc by the end of october or early november. being completely new to the pc world I'm really overwhelmed by the number of possibilities.

I am going to play mostly fps games like battlefield 4, titanfall, cod: ghosts maybe with some exceptions like tes online.

at the moment the budget would be around 1000.

thanks for reading and potential input.
and sorry for my english.

I've read that EA has now a partnership with AMD and the frostbite 3 engine is going to be optimized for AMD.
so has anybody a good AMD build?
or do you thing intel is not going to be affected by this?
sorry for my noob questions....
I just want to make sure that I don't have to upgrade the system for quite a while.

Generaly, the Intel processors of te same teir as AMD are better, so what is sounds like is that EA made the engine for a less powerful processor of the same teir. But that is just my best guess, so don't quote me on this.
