Hello, I recently got helped here and it made me very happy. But life isn't that simple now is it...

I just built my new PC, everything is working GREAT except that my monitor doesn't recognise my HDMI.

The really weird thing is that when I plug it in, the led turns blue as if it found something, but then it says no HDMI found or something like that. And when I unplug it, it does the same!!!

So my monitor clearly knows that i'm trying.

I heard it might be my GPU and I should check if the fans are eorking, they are
My motherboard works well, nothing unusual.

I might add that my PC recognises both my keyboard and my mouse.

Anyone knows what to do? :)

edit: The monitor works fine on my laptop, onlu on my PC that it doesn't work

do u have multiple monitors?
like 1 in ur vga card and one onboard?

if that is the case maybe u need to tinker in the bios,

try to find the option dont know the correct spelling but it should look like:

init display first : set it to igfx

Actually I'm really dumb... I was plugging my HDMI to my motherboard. I asked online and I didn't know I was suppose to plug it into my graphics card....

Got an adapter from DVI to VGA and I have to buy a cable, normally with that I will be set :).

Thank you though, I really appreciate people who take time to help others!

May you have a nice day :p
