Hi all,
I'm building a gaming PC with the following components:

CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K Quad-Core Desktop Processor 3.5 GHZ 8 MB Cache
Motherboard: ASUS MAXIMUS VI HERO DDR3 1600 LGA 1150
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory
Hard Drive: WD 2 TB NAS Hard Drive: SATA III, 64 MB Cache
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX780 SuperClocked w/EVGA ACX Cooler 3GB GDDR5 384bit

I'm not sure whether or not to get windows 7 or 8. Can someone give me some suggestions?

Nice build
first of all i want to tell you is that windows 8 was built mainly for touch screen pc and smart phones.
But it was not a success, like windows 7 and windows xp.
Windows 7 is highly stable and has good security features, also many patches have been released to reduce bug but on 8 it may have more bugs.
Selling rate of 8 was lower than expected in the market.
Its your opinion to choose.

yea i agree. i thought windows 7 might be more compatible as well. just wasnt sure when will windows 8 be as compatible to software/hardware as windows 7. mainly i want to make sure if gtx 780 will be fully functional on windows 8. didnt wanna spend all that money buying windows 8 and then turn out it to be uncompatible with my GPU.
